HELPFUL TIPS FOR IMPROVING PREPARATION
Chop garlic and onions in advance and store in bags to include with meats and vegetables. Freeze them for later use.
Cook 3 or more servings at a time with a large sauce or frying pan
Prepare fresh herbs and spices and freeze in water in ice cube trays. You can add these as needed when cooking to flavor your dishes. This works well with fresh herbs such as Basil, Italian parsley, and Cilantro.
Weigh out individual 5-7 ounces of meat, chicken or fish, put in plastic bags and freeze for later use. You can even freeze individual servings pre-seasoned with marinades or spice blends for added flavor. This can save you a lot of time when preparing meals.
Cook meats and place in plastic bags or tight containers for work or outings. Use a cooler with pre-measured fruit, vegetable, and protein portions to eliminate eating unhealthy foods at restaurants or while away.
Cook a roast in advance. Weigh the whole roast in 5-7 ounces raw increments then divide the roast into individual servings at the end of the cooking process.
Use small amounts of onion or garlic powders as a simple thickener for dressings and sauces.
Use fresh, natural whole foods and spices and allow your tastes to develop. Review how you feel on a day to day basis as your body cleanses from the healthy foods you are eating. Increase your consumption of fruit and vegetables daily, especially those that are more ALKALINE in nature.
For a list of alkaline and alkaline forming foods, simple use internet search engines such as GOOGLE and YAHOO. Type in "acid alkaline chart" in the search field. You will see many sites come up, but at the top menu of the search engine, change from WEB view to PICTURE view. You will see many charts come up. Simply click on one to enlarge it and view the array of options in the alkaline category. You will note that you are already consuming a lot of acidic foods you need such as protein, carbohydrates and fats. So you need to eat a lot more of the alkaline to help create pH balance in your body and aid your better health.
